Kids love to text! Using abbreviations, acronyms and short codes makes sense when texting or instant messaging on cell phones. Some of this Internet lingo is creative and fun. Unfortunately, this cryptic language can also hide messages that could endanger your children. Did you know that "POS" can mean "Parent over shoulder" or that "420" refers to marijuana?

Easily search through the NetAware terms and meanings and see the search results as you type. Browse the terms quickly by sliding your finger along the familiar index. The meaning of each term is displayed below the term at all times. Definitions that are too long to fit are shortened with an ellipsis (...) at the end. Simply tapping on a term will reveal the full meaning, with multiple meanings on separate lines.
